Partner Engineer, Full Stack

The Partner Engineering Team is a highly technical team working directly with strategic partners, developers and content creators to help build new integrations and experiences that leverage Snap’s platform products.

We’re looking for a Partner Engineer to join Snap Inc.!

What you’ll do:

  • Create and manage technical relationships with development teams of our strategic partners and clients of the Ads API

Help Snap’s product teams design and develop APIs to the highest technical standards by establishing and enforcing API design guidelines.

  • Create and manage the on-boarding process for new strategic clients ensuring the best developer experience for their engineering teams as they integrate with our software.

  • Help clients design and architect their integrations, providing technical feedback and helping them by developing solutions and writing code whenever necessary.

  • Create sample apps and code for our products to make it easy for new developers to get started on our platform.

  • Work with content writers and engineering teams to develop robust and comprehensive documentation for our products.

  • Create and maintain feedback loops between internal and external product/engineering teams.

  • Be the voice of external developers internally. Help design our self-serve solutions to fit their developer needs, providing guidance and feedback to improve developer experience.

  • Track developer experience metrics and keep internal stakeholders updated.

  • Help pitch our platform products at conferences, hackathons, developer meetups etc.

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong Java/Python coding skills

    • Knowledge of REST API design and best practices

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Public speaking experience; talking at conferences, seminars etc. 

     

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience

    • 3+ years of experience working as a full stack software engineer or partner engineer

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience building full stack applications that use APIs

    • Experience building and integrating with REST APIs

    • Experience working with Marketing APIs or in the ad technology domain

    • Experience building Server side web applications

    • Experience with digital Ads platforms

    • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time
