The team operates at the intersection of innovation and growth and helps drive progress towards Snap’s highest priority initiatives.

We’re looking for a Strategy Lead to join Team Snap! As a member of the Strategy and Corporate Development team focusing on M&A integration, you will be tasked with ensuring that we get the most value and certainty out of our large and sometimes risky bets around M&A by staying laser focused on the deal rationale derived from the long-term strategy, translating the vision and goals into specific operational decisions and outcomes, and making sure we have strong alignment across all functions to execute on the integration plan. This position will report directly to the Director of M&A Integration at Strategy and Corporate Development.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop Snap’s integration function/capability, primarily focused on acquisitions but also relating to investments and complex corporate partnerships where relevant. 

  • Develop and own the Corporate Development integration playbook. 

  • Work cross-functionally with executives, functional leaders, and their teams to ensure overall integration preparedness, resourcing, and alignment. 

  • Work closely during the diligence process with Corporate Development deal leads, business sponsors, and functional teams to build comprehensive integration plans, drive alignment on those plans, and ensure pre-transaction closing preparedness. 

  • Lead all technology, talent, platform, and business integrations including day-to-day project management, execution through cross-functional integration teams, communication to various stakeholders (including executives), and serving as a guide/resource for acquired teams and leaders. 

  • Own deal scorecards, milestones, and metrics reporting; track and own short- and long-term progress toward deal objectives. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance

  • Excellent strategic, analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with ability to operate cross-functionally at all organization levels, bias for action.

  • Intellectual curiosity and honesty

  • Baseline familiarity with integration requirements across a range of functions, from HR/recruiting/finance/legal to technical functions like engineering, product management and design. Ability to work with product & engineers strongly preferred. Strong and proven project management skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking. Willingness to directly project manage integrations. 

  • Mission-driven, enthusiastic to learn and grow; team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude. 

  • Ability to build and manage relationships with founders and acquired teams. Demonstrated ability to dig into the details and work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments and levels..

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 4+ years of experience working in management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, HR, engineering, strategy, or other operational roles with high tech companies, ideally in the segment of consumer internet or TMT.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert skills with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides or Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint

  • A passion for Snapchat

  • The minimum target salary for this role is $100,000
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary performance award 
  • This position is eligible to receive ongoing equity grants.
