We’re looking for Computer Vision engineers to join the Snap Labs Computer Vision Team at Snap Inc!

The SnapLab Computer Vision Team works to solve some of the most important challenges on Computer Vision and Augmented Reality. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be working in a small team to write efficient code for our most exciting products. you’ll work on solving some of our industry’s toughest challenges and develop the next generation of wearable devices.

Working from our Vienna office, you’ll develop groundbreaking technology together with colleagues from our locations in Santa Monica (HQ), London and Israel. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and designers and will develop algorithms to create exciting products and breakthrough interactive experiences. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop novel features for the next generation of AR products

  • Design, implement and integrate existing and new Computer Vision and Augmented Reality algorithms

  • Research new techniques to improve speed, quality of existing algorithms for Computer Vision

  • Contribute to state-of-the-art tracking algorithms

  • Work with our computer vision team to deliver next-generation detection (such as face, hand, body etc.) technology for Augmented Reality systems

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Solid foundation in Computer Vision such as camera models, multi-view geometry and transformations

  • Solid math background with understanding of 3D geometry, trigonometry and linear algebra

  • Experience with C++ and Python

  • Outstanding problem solving skills

  • Ability to transform ideas into clean, fast and reliable code

  • Team player with great communication skills

  • Fluent  English

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Computer Graphics or 3+ years of relevant industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters, PhD, or industrial experience in computer vision and geometry (for example techniques such as bundle adjustment, structure from motion, 3D tracking)

  • Experience in implementing high-performance computer vision algorithms


 

The annual gross salary (38,5 hours / week) for this position is according to the collective agreement (IT-KV). We are offering a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
