Business Operations Intern

We’re looking for a Business Operations Intern to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Business Operations team, you will support different teams within the Operations department. While working from our Santa Monica office (as and when needed), you’ll collaborate with Business Operations and Data Analysts to ensure we’re prepared to support and drive projects related to data analysis and operational efficiency.

  • Work closely with the Business Operations team to identify problems and perform large-scale data analysis to derive useful business insights 

  • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and communicate results to cross-functional teams

  • Recommend improvements in tools and techniques to help scale the team


  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

    • Ability to work independently and drive multiple projects to completion simultaneously through strong ownership and attention to detail, with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment

    • Experience approaching problems using a structured, analytical mindset, strong project management and business judgement.

    • Ability to create visuals, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate your insights

    • Proficiency with Google products (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Currently are or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related technical field


  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Curious, self-driven, analytical, and excited to work with data

    • Passionate about helping customers and understands what makes for an incredible customer experience

    • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work with various team members throughout the company

    • Strong interest in the technology industry and social media 

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and adapting to the needs of Snap Inc. 

    • Able to work independently while also operating as a collaborative team player

    • Customer-driven with a passion for creating a great support experience

    • Passion for Snapchat

    • Up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up

    • Experience with SQL or other programming languages (Python, Java, and/or C++)
