We’re looking for an Atlassian Developer to join the IT Productivity Tools team! As a member of the IT team, you will play a key role in contributing and maintaining Snap’s Atlassian ecosystems. Working from one of our many offices across the globe, you will administer and support an Agile framework using Atlassian tools for a large-scale deployment at the enterprise level. You will work to develop and enable best practices in the tools through configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.

What you’ll do:

  • Building components (add-ons) or customizations for the Atlassian JIRA platform.

  • Develop connectors with enterprise systems and services for various projects.

  • Customize and develop workflows for cross functional teams within the organization.

  • Seamlessly integrate data between third party systems and Atlassian software suite.

  • Build customizations to simplify user and group management.

  • Maintain development lifecycle for internal script repository.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in development using Groovy and web-based architectures and technologies.

  • Customer focus and drive to create an impact.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Atlassian administration and configuration, primarily Jira and Confluence.

  • Experience with Adaptivist Scriptrunner including building and customizing add-ons.

  • Working knowledge of using Jira REST API or other REST based web services.

  • Working knowledge of Java application servers, Java API, Groovy, or other languages.

  • Experience with distributed, multi-tier, mixed technologies, software architectures.

  • Understanding and hands-on experience of defect tracking, project management tools and documentation.

  • Broad knowledge of software industry and technological trends, especially web technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with working in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience with using open source frameworks.

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Python, Java, Go.

  • Experience with data modeling techniques, SQL and experience working with relational databases (ORACLE, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

  • Experience with software design patterns, object-oriented programming techniques, and agile development methods.
