This is a contingent position based upon customer approval.
Position Details and Responsibilities
SkyePoint is seeking a highly motivated and eager individual to fill the role of a System Administrator supporting the Department of State (DOS).
This is a onsite position based in Washington, DC with a standard work schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This position requires the need to work approximately one weekend per month.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, triage, troubleshoot and perform systems administration, maintenance activities and periodic system health checks on complex messaging platforms.
- Coordinate and interact with other service offices to remediate systems outages, performance degradations and network/application defects.
- Provide real property management support for Global Messaging Services. Ensure compliance with federal property policies and procedures related to asset tagging, disposition, and accountability within the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS).
- Pack and track messaging system end items shipped to overseas posts.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors and 5+ years of experience; or equivalent experience without a degree.
- Microsoft Server 2012/2019/2022 Datacenter; Windows 2011; Office 365
- Working knowledge of the DOS pouch mail and ILMS.
- Reliability and strong sense of work commitment.
- Ability to follow Standard Operations Procedures and verbal direction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation, professional demeanor and accountability.
- Must be able to work one weekend a month.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

- Cross Domain Solution (CDS)
- Network and Host Vulnerability Assessment / Mitigation
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
- ITIL Foundations

Compensation:
Salary Range: $85,000-$125,000
The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package.
Salary at SkyePoint is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
