Working as a Regional Specification Sales Manager at Cooper Lighting Solutions is dynamic. You'll be responsible for educating the sales agents and specifier customers in our vast array of solutions to drive increased sales that enable our customers and partners more effectively solve their customer's needs.

What you'll do...
  • Know our products and competitor's products and how they solve problems-be engaged in industry organizations (IES, IALD LIRC, etc.).
  • Understand what influences customers decisions, like quality of light, energy codes and standards like WELL and LEED-and translate that into solutions we offer.
  • Manage your region by establishing goals and plans with our sales agent partners to drive wider and deeper adoption of our new and existing products .
  • Comfortable in creating and making presentations to large and small groups of agents and customers.
  • Effective in understanding and managing numbers-use of Excel is important.
What you'll need...
  • 5+ years of commercial sales across a multi-state territory preferably in the lighting, controls, or similar industries
  • Bachelor's Degree or greater
  • Experience as lighting sales agent, regional lighting sales manager, or as design professional
  • Proven track record of success
  • Ability to travel 60%-70% nationwide
What you'll get in return...

Salary:$ 118,275 - 173,470 Base

Bonus:Target 35% Sales Incentive bonus
