As a Development Engineer - Mechanics you will be responsible for the design and development of new LED luminaires, from initial concept to production implementation, working within a multi-disciplinary team and working closely with Product Management to support the organization's innovation strategy. You'll be responsible for developing new products, systems or mechanical components using the latest technologies and features.

What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of new LED luminaires within a multi-functional team, from initial concept to production implementation.
- Develop innovative solutions for a variety of aesthetic, mechanical, thermal, lighting and product certification challenges.
- Act in conjunction with Lab, Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure that all project objectives, cost targets, and release dates are met.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation in 3D and 2D CAD.
- Follow the test plan during development; evaluate test results and provide troubleshooting solutions.
- Evaluate components and products assembled in production to propose continuous product and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree completed in Mechanical Engineering with large, related experience.
- Previous experience with lighting products, including LED luminaires for Indoor applications will be a differentiator (desirable).
- Ability to design mechanical products with integrated electrical components.
- Excellent 3D and 2D CAD software skills - preferably SolidWorks.
- Excellent knowledge of quality tools (DFMEA, 8D and PPAP).
- Fluent in English is MANDATORY (writing and speaking).
- Advanced Spanish is a plus (desirable).
