As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for quality management during NPDL for Hue product.

What you'll do
  • Integral Accountable for all E2E Quality deliverables in the NPDL Process and Fast track development projects
  • Creates integral quality planning and assures all quality deliverables of all quality disciplines (SQ,IQ,FQ, Development Quality, compliancy) are on time and with the right quality level
  • Synchronizes Quality planning with integral NPDL planning made by IPM
  • Coaches, trains and challenges other functions on execution of quality activities (e.g. CTQ, FMEA, Supplier selection, PPAP, QTP, Process validation, Reliability prediction, Compliancy)
  • Is empowered to challenge project team if critical quality deliverables or required inputs for quality deliverables are missing or not at the right quality
  • Presents the quality status in NPDL Gate and MS review and defines & drives corrective actions to meet deliverables
  • Provides regular status reports
  • Assures budget is defined in the project to meet quality deliverables
  • Set quality KPI in NPDL Project
  • Defines requirements for quality test- and measurement equipment.
  • Ensure that customer requirements are incorporated into product functional specifications and lead risk and failure analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA) to ensure functional specification requirements and severity are fully met during design validation.
  • Facilitate/Participate in the development and maintenance of the new product Process Flows, PFMEA and Control Plans, including development CTQ's from the DFMEA. (Who will do it: CL)
  • Participate in Engineering Design Reviews of specifications and drawings.
  • Leads/Facilitate the development of the CTQ's Matrix and its validation (through QTP execution and validation
  • Attend DV/PV builds, Test Center reviews and verify compliance of product and process to the Control Plan.
  • Maintain communication with all relevant quality disciplines related to the project and effectively handoff the Project Quality role to Industrial Quality.
  • Lead problem-solving activities for internal and Customer concerns relating to assigned responsibilities and documenting all actions in the required format (eg. 8D). (Make sure it is Design related after MS CR)
  • Closes feedback loops from customer complaints by embedding the learnings into new design rules, QTP's, FMEA's and other VE-tools
Your Qualification
  • Several years of hands-on experience in product development, supplier quality or industrial quality with knowledge of development quality tools
  • Demonstrated ability to influence a project team
  • Detailed knowledge of the theory and principles of APQP and statistical methods
  • Experience in new product development with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong computer skills including APQP applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Thorough understanding of advanced quality tools and PPAP.
  • Preferably Certified DfSS Black Belt or Master Black Belt
  • SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA & problem solving expert
  • Product safety training
  • Strong analytical skills, fact based
  • Excellent interdisciplinary communication and presentation skills Strong leadership skills to defend the customer's interests
  • Deep understanding of innovation and life-cycle management processes
  • Able to motivate others to pick-up their quality responsibilities
  • Technical knowledge of the applicable area on product & process & testing
  • Demonstrates through leadership, commitment to the principles of "Continuous Improvement" challenge suppliers on process/product technical solutions linked to the technology.
  • Project Management capabilities
