Talent Acquisition Partner - Japan

Yesterday Tokyo, Japan

Be at the Heart of Hiring in a Global Software Company

Our TA team recruits across the Asia Pacific region, hiring hundreds of new colleagues every year. You may not know all of our software products by name, but you'll certainly recognize our customers, the biggest names in the PLM, Semiconductor, Automotive, Aviation, and Industrial Manufacturing industries

Our Opportunity

In this role, you will attract, assess, and secure top talent for Sales roles and other positions in the PLM, EDA, and Software industries across Japan. You will report directly to a APAC Sales Talent Acquisition Manager and play a key role in ensuring that our business units are staffed with the right people to achieve their goals.

You will manage requisitions from opening to closure, partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners, and provide guidance on recruitment processes and tools. Using creative sourcing strategies such as networking, social media, referrals, and direct outreach, you will identify and engage top talent, evaluate candidates through interviews, and ensure a strong candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.

You will also build and maintain long-term relationships with active and passive candidates, stay informed on market trends to support workforce planning, and collaborate with external recruitment partners and internal HR teams to meet hiring objectives.

This role builds trusted relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR BPs to influence and deliver talent acquisition strategies that meet current and future business needs.

You will work in a consultative approach, providing insights on the job market and best practices across all parts of the recruiting lifecycle. The role deals with complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors, exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. With wide-ranging experience, you will use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Skills and Abilities Required

We are looking for candidates with proven years of experience, ideally with a background in Sales recruitment within the software or technology sector.

Experience with ATS/CRM tools (Avature is a plus) and digital interview platforms is valuable.

Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, forward-thinking mindset are essential.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with a proven ability to influence hiring decisions, are key to success in this role.

Fluent English and Japanese

Location

This role is based in Tokyo, supporting other locations across ASEAN, Australia and Japan. You'll be part of a global team shaping the future of our workforce.
