Sr. Manager, Corporate Communications

Cincinnati, OH / Remote

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Brand & Communications, this role is responsible for leading strategic communications programs that shape and safeguard the reputation of Siemens Digital Industries Software. With a focus on supporting communications programs for key areas that include partners, crisis, issues and mergers and acquisitions, this individual will work across the extended Siemens communications team on global alignment and execution. This individual will also share responsibility for driving multi-channel awareness campaigns with a focus on the Siemens Electronic Design Automation (EDA) segment, so experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus. Responsibilities and tasks may include development of strategic plans, media relations, scheduling and managing interviews, creating content for internal and external audiences, representing Siemens at events, social media content creation, serving as a company spokesperson and working across Siemens and our ecosystem to find stories and identify opportunities to reach our community with these stories.

Essential Functions:

• Lead, develop and manage execution of global, multi-channel communications programs with a focus on reputation and awareness of Siemens Digital Industries Software

• Direct strategy and execution of multi-channel reputation and awareness campaigns in the electronic design automation (EDA), semiconductor and electronics industries

• In partnership with other stakeholders including legal, finance, investor relations, and compliance, develop internally and externally facing communications materials around key projects

• Collaborate across organizations including industry strategy, marketing, thought leadership and social media to develop strategic communications plans and deliver/amplify key messages and stories across the Siemens communications landscape

• Work with zone communications teams to drive local execution of communications programs

• Managing interviews between media and Siemens spokespersons

• Coordination with Siemens Digital Industries, Siemens AG, Regional Country communicators and spokespersons as needed

• Serves as a communications advisor to executives and subject matter experts

• May serve as functional manager for cross-functional team programs

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Demonstrated skills in strategic communications, including creation of internally and externally facing communications materials

• Skilled in media relations

• Able to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns across earned, owned, paid and social media channels

• As comfortable with strategic planning/thinking as you are writing/executing

• Strong internal client management skills, including the ability to provide wise counsel and manage appropriate service level expectations while simultaneously delivering results that meet their needs and the broader organization

• Ability to serve as a spokesperson, as needed/appropriate

• Executive presence and the ability to work closely with the most senior executives at Siemens

• Cam successfully collaborate with senior-level peers in PR-adjacent disciplines, including social media team, internal comms team, etc.

• Effectively navigates and leverages a large and complex organizational structure to maximize efficiency

• Not afraid of complex technologies; willing to go deep on new technologies to engage with colleagues, partners and media on technical issues related to industrial software and automation

• Excellent written and verbal skills, interpersonal and communication skills with English fluency

• Strong presentation and organizational skills

• Passion for crafting a wide-range of messaging from thought-leadership to product launches to crisis communications

Education and Experience Requirement:

• Experience working with and understanding one or more of the following industries: PLM, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Electronic Design Automation (EDA)

• 10+ year Public Relations, Media Relations, or Integrated Marketing experience

• History of interacting with senior management and C-suite executives

• Ability to effectively navigate and leverage a large and complex organizational structure to maximize efficiency

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• May require up to 15% travel.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $120,800 to$217,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
