Aspart of continued growth and expansion, Siemens Industry Software (SISW) isseeking a software development engineer for Simcenter applications. Simcenterdevelopment works on sophisticated and multi-discipline engineering analysisapplications for both Finite Element and Finite Volume simulation. Simcenterintegrates outstanding analysis modeling with simulation solutions forstructural, thermal, flow, acoustic, motion, engineering optimization, electromagnetics, multi-physics, simulation data management and simulation drivendesign. As a member of the development team, responsibility will be to ensure ahigh-quality, robust code implementation and efficient operation.

Role and Responsibilities
- We are in search for candidate who would like to be part of the CAE development team to develop innovative technology.
Theengineer for this position will directly work on Simcenter applications, todevelop new functionalities and improving existing one.
- We are searching for someone who can work with Product Managements and customers to propose and define creative and feasible solutions to effectively address the requirements of new CAE workflows, has to craft software applications applying object oriented analysis and design techniques, and has to implement efficient, maintainable, reliable and scalable code using sophisticated and low level algorithms.
Theymust work to collaborate and connect with product management, development,application specialists, quality teams and customers from different geographiclocations. We are looking for a candidate who can perform task independently,own application modules and provide technical leadership to other team members.
SimcenterApplications are high-end and extremely sophisticated products that integrates3D modeling, graphics, FEA/FVM, Motion Simulation and the engineer who isdeveloping it, has to focus on accurate and efficient solution.
Weare seeking for someone with very good at problem solving, should be able totake independent and creative decisions. They have to be proficient in usingdifferent data structures and algorithm techniques, should have exposure toOOAD principles and good working experience in C/C++.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
5-12 years of experience developingcommercial software products
Candidatewith 5+ years of experience writing C and or C++ for an engineeringapplications
Strongobject-oriented programming skills with an emphasis on maintainability andreuse
Validatedtrack-record of writing dedication & maintainable code
Experiencewith Fortran and Understanding of Mechanical Engineering fields and FiniteElement Analysis are a plus!
Attentionto detail, ability to work-independently, pride of ownership!
Familiaritywith large, complex source trees, performance analysis and code optimization
