Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $ 125,200.00-$200,300.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Contribute to the design, specifications, implementation, test, and maintenance of Siemens' Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) prototyping product clocking-oriented features. Design, implementation and tuning of clocking analysis and conversion algorithms. Develop transformations on user ASIC designs to make them FPGA-prototyping-compliant. Interact with Siemens' RTL synthesis team, as well as place and route team within the VPS team to ensure the clocking change is good. Understand the electronics and digital designs as input to the product is chip design. Understand static timing analysis on digital design as clocking strategies affect the timing analysis. Enhance the VPS software using C++ language. Utilize knowledge of digital design to analyze design inputs. Write unit test cases using Tcl/Perl scripting languages. Using different FPGA vendor specific technologies to help implement clocking features. Work on methodologies to pass and reuse clocking information to other tools. Software performance analysis and tuning. Assess information from real-world use cases to improve software and system performance. Provide technical support to end users including customers and application engineers.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 24 months of experience in Software Engineer or related occupation

Position requires 2 years of experience with:

1.C++ programming to implement algorithms into products

2.FPGA design and IP development flow to develop FPGA prototype solutions

3.Static timing analysis to develop clocking-related algorithms

4.Tcl/Perl scripting for cell modeling libraries and testing.
