About the Role

Main focus of Software Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) will be to work with a scrum team to ensure we provide good quality features and integrations of existing software as well as maintain and improve testing environment and tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and follow Quality Control Standards and test processes.
  • Work closely with development teams in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, and collaborate with developers to drive issue resolution.
  • Coach the team to achieve and maintain automated tests stability.
  • Design, create and maintain automated tests to check the functionality of the application.
  • Develop, document and maintain automation test infrastructure.
  • Participate in test code reviews, provide guidance to your peers.
  • Participate in product design.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Grow professionally together with your teammates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Fluency in Python and batch/bash scripting
  • Familiarity with other scripting languages like JavaScript or Visual Basic
  • Working knowledge of Windows/Linux platforms
  • Version control system: SVN
  • Experience in CI/CD like Jenkins
  • Nice to have: Docker, Confluence, JIRA
  • Experience with systems for version control and design data management
  • Familiarity with electronic design tools used for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and detect complex or hard-to-find issues during testing.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and international teams.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, to support effective communication in a global environment.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to mentor and support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Open-mindedness and flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, agile development environment.
