We're looking for a Senior QA Test Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities
- Understand FPGA-Based Prototyping and Multiple FPGA Partitioning challenges and qualify new tool features to address them.
- Test and validate the flow from ASIC design to FPGA implementation.
- Develop test plans and execute tests for new product features, including HW-SW co-simulation, Power-Aware verification, and memory modeling.
- Utilize simulation, formal verification, and emulation solutions for FPGA design verification.
- Participate in various testing phases throughout the release cycle.
- Validate new FPGA board architectures and HW interfaces.
- Integrate customer designs and use cases into the testing environment.
- Maintain build and regression infrastructure.
- Report and validate defects, prioritize fixes, and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Implement and monitor qualification techniques such as static code analysis.
- Evaluate tool capabilities compared to competitors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong grasp of Digital concepts and RTL Design/Verification.
- Proficiency in Hardware Description Languages: VERILOG/VHDL or System Verilog.
- Hands-on experience with FPGA flow and tools like Vivado/Quartus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages: Shell/Perl/Python.
- Independent worker with adept testing method selection.
- Knowledge of Siemens EDA Tools and Quality Assurance Concepts.
- Understanding of Testing Strategies, Automation Tools, and Defect Tracking Systems.
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively.
