Duties: Overseeing global data privacy requirementsfor the organization, including identifying priorities and targeting for thelegal organization based on changes to regulations, the organization, and businessmodels. Supporting the design, implementation and improvement of rules,strategies, and policies for ensuring compliance with global data privacyregulations, such as European Data Privacy Laws, US Data Privacy Laws, andChinese Data Privacy Laws. Ensuring uniform and consistent processes, conceptsguidelines, and templates in connection with legal data privacy matters, with astrong focus on contractual aspects, automation and scale. Overseeing andsupervising the Data Privacy Team. Hiring, training, and enabling eachzone/region legal lead to provide further trainings and support to their localzone legal colleagues. Directing the Data Privacy Team, supervising theirperformance, directing training paths, and reviewing performance for functionalzone managers. Establishing the role and process in cross-functional dataprivacy matters, including between development, support, compliance, and sales.Acting as advisor to and coordinating legal data privacy matters handled byoutside counsel. Assisting with privacy due diligence and integrationactivities. Serving as lead partner to C-level executives and compliance ondata privacy.

Requirements: Employer will accept a First professional law degree(such as JD) or its foreign equivalent, and 60 months of experience in the joboffered or in a Data Privacy related occupation. The position requiresexperience in the following: 5 years of experience working with global dataprotection laws and regulations, including Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),and ePrivacy Directive; Support the design, implementation and maintenance ofPrivacy by Design processes, Transfer Impact Assessments, and SubprocessorManagement strategies; Create and implement privacy programs, policies,procedures, and guidelines; Draft, implement, and maintain data processingagreements (controller2controller, processor2processor) and supportingmaterials, including playbooks and FAQs; Evaluate, assess, and guideinternational data transfers and the implementation of data transfersafeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or Binding Corporate Rules;Working with technical and organizational framework of cloud environments forprocessing personal data; 5 years of experience providing drafting andnegotiating general contract and commercial terms in supporting businesstransactions, specifically with cloud computing, SaaS, product lifecyclemanagement software, or software analytics; 2 years of experience withoverseeing legal and non-legal professionals. 2-5% domestic and international travel is required. Telecommuting ispermissible.
