Position Overview
Siemens Digital Industries Software seeks a proven and motivated individual to lead the sales team for one of our largest global strategic accounts, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, EDA Global Sales - Americas. In this role, you will cultivate executive customer relationships and work across a globally distributed organization, collaborating with sales and technical leadership across geographies to develop and execute high-impact multi-year sales strategies. Successful Sales Directors in Siemens EDA (SEDA) are passionate about creating new business opportunities, building and expanding business within high-profile customers, collaborating across organizational boundaries, and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following activities:
- Building and maintaining high-quality customer relationships at the senior and executive leadership level
- Leading the development and execution of a long-term holistic strategy for customer retention and growth-ensuring continuous focus across a cross-functional sales team on identifying, planning for, and capturing new business opportunities within a complex, dynamic global account
- Developing the business plan for enabling SEDA products and services with the account, leveraging expertise of internal partners across Technical Sales and Finance and regularly communicating the plan and progress with SEDA's senior leadership team
- Developing and motivating a high-performing direct team of account managers; includes coaching Account Managers to progress and close business using best practices
- Overseeing the development of an in-depth technical execution plan towards achieving strategic objectives; tracking results and managing continuity of plan with key SEDA stakeholders
- Leading regular management review meetings (MRMs) and technical review meetings (TRMs) across SEDA executive leadership and Customer
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 12+ years' experience in the EDA and semiconductor design or electronics industries and proven knowledge of semiconductor design and EDA tool flows to formulate winning sales strategies, establish credibility with teams, and connect with customers, showcasing the desire to uncover emerging trends from our customers that develop into new business opportunities
• Senior account management or sales management experience in the EDA or IC design space with relentless focus on the customer and a proven track record of planning, negotiating, and closing deals with highly complex global accounts
• Success leading in a global, matrixed environment and building relationships and partnerships, both internally and externally; ability to quickly build trust with senior leaders as well as collaborate with and motivate a worldwide, cross-functional team to develop solutions and overcome customer obstacles
• Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills to all organizational levels, including executive, C-Level leadership
• Excellent business judgment and demonstrated success delivering results that are optimized at the company level (balanced between company and customer), then team, then yourself
• Ability to handle competing priorities with an ability to address and solve problems in a timely manner
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- This role will be located near customer's location in Santa Clara, California or Portland, Oregon
- Moderate travel is expected

The total cash compensation range for this position is $226,700 to $453,400 with 40% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
