As an QA Engineer you will be responsible for automationand improvement of software testing process.
You'll help our customers drive digital innovation by
- Improvement of existing test frameworksystem (applications, modules):
- Quickly understanding the tested feature(mathematical model, parameters, etc.
- Working in contact with developers anddecide how to achieve maximum coverage, work out corner cases of the tested feature.
- Developing test plans.
- Developing functional and featureregression tests and test suites:
- Manage testing projects (assign tasks toproject engineers, prepare timetables, documentation, etc.
- Look through the results of test runs,inspect the reasons of failed tests and fix them.
- Look through testing tools' logs,understand the reasons of crashes and errors.
- Develop test plans and manage job assignments.
What do you need to realize what matters?
- QA engineershould have at least 3 years working experience in software testing area.
- BS/MS/PHD inElectronic Engineering or Computer Science.
- Good knowledgeof Electronics, IC design.
- Good backgroundof layout, schematic, verification EDA tools.
- Highscripting/coding skills (knowledge of TCL, Python, Perl is a plus).
- Ability tostudy quickly new scripting languages.
- Search andunderstand documentation about domain, software tools, etc.
- Experience ofworking in UNIX environment.
- Good knowledgeof UNIX shell scripting.
- Basic knowledgeabout grid engines.
- Knowledge andexperience of working with software testing tools.
- Memory andcache testing tools (purify, valgrind, etc.)
- Code coverageanalyzers (Numega, gcov, Pure coverage, etc.)
- GUI testingtools (Rational Robot, Squish, etc.)
- Basic knowledgeabout design data formats (LEF, DEF, GDSII, Open Access).
