A PrincipalCloud Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, andmaintaining cloud infrastructure and services within Teamcenter organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Architecture Design: Design andarchitect cloud-based solutions, including software as a service (SaaS) andinfrastructure as service (IaaS) offerings.
  • Implementation and Deployment: Lead the implementationand deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, andsecurity best practices are followed.
  • Automation: Develop automation scripts andtools to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and deploymentprocesses within the cloud environment.
  • Cloud Optimization: Optimize cloud resourcesfor performance, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency, including monitoring andtuning cloud services as needed.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement securitycontrols, encryption, and access management mechanisms to protect cloud-basedassets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate withcross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, andsecurity professionals, to support cloud-based applications and services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated withindustry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to cloudcomputing, and propose and implement improvements to enhance the organization'scloud capabilities.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technicaldocumentation, including architectural diagrams, guidelines, and proceduresrelated to cloud infrastructure and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in cloudengineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing cloudsolutions.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AmazonWeb Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), includinghands-on experience with cloud services, networking, and security.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g.,Python) for automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools(e.g., CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, version control) forcontinuous integration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies(e.g., Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of networking concepts,virtualization, and storage technologies in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analyticalthinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborativeenvironment.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $145,700 to$262,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
