About the role
As a Technical Sales Support (Presales Consultant) you provide technical support for Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) comprised by Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) product line and directly contribute to the success of a team of product specialists and account managers by increasing the deployment. You will help to capture our customers' needs and translate them into a compelling proposition, providing product demonstrations to show the value of our powerful solutions for primarily the automotive & aerospace markets (but working with other industries like Consumer Product, Energy, Heavy Equipment, Industrial Machinery, etc).

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong functional knowledge of the Siemens Opcenter Portfolio
- Help sales team with discovery phase of the sales process
- Create custom demonstrations, when necessary
- Support account managers in sales effort
- Attends trade shows
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Lead and deliver software demonstrations to clients
- Conduct "site survey assessments" to document current state, challenges with current state and map to be state for clients
- Ability to understand and assess customer needs as well as explaining the value of the solution stack to clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (successful conclusion of an engineering or scientific grade).
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems. Knowledge of Advanced Programming and Scheduling is a plus.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the Production Management business process and software
- 3+ years of experience in designing and/or selling software solutions for Production Management
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time
- Teamwork, flexibility, willingness to learn
- High level of proficiency in English (Speaking and Writing)
The following requirements are a plus:
- Knowledge of PLM domain
- Knowledge of ERP domain
- Knowledge of Siemens Software Portfolio
- Knowledge of IIoT platform
- Experience in PreSales or Service/consulting roles
- Presentation skills: be comfortable in presenting to end users, department leaders as well as to the executives.
- Ability to operate in challenging environments (e.g. deliver in time, scope management, identify potential issues...)
- Able to deliver compelling, well-structured, value-based demonstrations
- Good consultative inter-personal style of communication
- High level of initiative, proactiveness
