Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Livonia, MI is $127,899.00-199,920.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Develop and drive new business for simulation and test solutions. Develop and maintain a business plan to sell into the Automotive & Transportation accounts. Use Salesforce to identify and target contacts. Call existing customers to understand how they use tools and promote additional tools that compliment what they are doing. Conduct in-person meetings for presentations and sales related activity. Create new opportunities monthly and document them in Salesforce. Create product configurations and quotes for customers and prospects. Maintain a rolling twelve month forecast with expected revenue and close dates. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal team members. Create a monthly report detailing activity including number of account visits, number of outbound calls, business closed, business expected, and examples of successful outreach. Attend new product training when available and support technical conferences and trade shows as needed. Understand customers challenges related to product engineering and position right Simulation/CAE tools from Siemens portfolio and offer guidance on how we can solve their challenges. Present high-level overview of all portfolio solutions and tailor messaging to customer application, engineering challenges and needs. Hold technical discovery calls with customer in the areas of thermos-fluid dynamics, mechanical FEA based analysis, design optimization, mechatronics system integration.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Portfolio Development-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1.Maintaining and expanding customer relationships using Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator;

2.Simcenter portfolio tools including Amesim, Simcenter 3D, STAR-CCM+, HEEDS, and Simcenter Test

3.Creating business and technical presentations for customers using MS Office Suite;

4.Working with products in Engineering CAE domain

5.Automotive and transportation industry trends position products and services.

Telecommuting may be permissible pursuant to company policy. 30% domestic travel required. [Hybrid role]
