Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated andexperienced Training Librarian to join our team. As a Training Librarian, youwill play a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and managing trainingprograms and initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of ouremployees across various departments and roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and managecomprehensive training programs and initiatives aligned with organizationalgoals and priorities, leveraging both internal and external resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholdersto identify training needs and objectives, conduct needs assessments, anddevelop tailored training plans and strategies.
  • Curate and organize a widerange of training resources, including online courses, webinars, workshops,instructional materials, and learning tools, to support employee developmentand continuous learning.
  • Design and deliver engaging andinteractive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, utilizing avariety of instructional methods and techniques to cater to diverse learningstyles.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness oftraining programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, andmake adjustments as needed to ensure continuous improvement and maximum impact.
  • Stay informed about emergingtrends, best practices, and technologies in training and development, andincorporate relevant advancements into training strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internalsubject matter experts and external vendors to develop custom training contentand solutions tailored to specific business needs and requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuouslearning and knowledge sharing within Siemens DI SW PES by promoting access tolearning resources, communities of practice, and professional networks.
  • Maintain accurate records oftraining activities, attendance, and outcomes, and prepare reports anddashboards to track progress and demonstrate the value of training initiativesto stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degreein Library Science, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing,delivering, and managing training programs and initiatives within a corporateor organizational setting.
  • Strong understanding of adultlearning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learningtechnologies.
  • Excellent communication,presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspirelearners of all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability tocollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achievecommon goals.
  • Proficiency in learningmanagement systems (LMS), content authoring tools, and other training-relatedsoftware applications.
  • Strong organizational skillsand attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects andpriorities simultaneously.
  • Commitment to continuouslearning and professional development, with a passion for staying abreast ofindustry trends and best practices.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g.,Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified TrainingProfessional (CTP), etc.) is a plus.
