We are seeking a driven and talented individual, ideally a recent graduate with a strong interest in web development, to join our DI IT Software team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the enhancement of our internal intranet platform, which is instrumental in supporting the collaborative and operational needs of our expansive 25,000-employee organization. Brief job description:

This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates or individuals in their early stages of their careers who have a foundational understanding of web development principles and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field. As a trainee software web developer you will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at enhancing our internal intranet system, which serves as a crucial hub for our organization's communication, collaboration, and operational needs.

What are my Responsibilities?

  • Collaborate with the web development product owner to plan, design, and develop new features and functionalities for our internal intranet platform
  • Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing intranet applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Participate in the testing and implementation of web applications, widgets, including identifying bugs and issues and recommending solutions
  • Learn and apply best practices in web development, including coding standards, tools, and technologies
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to keep abreast of the latest web development trends and technologies
  • Contribute to the documentation of web development processes, code, and user guides
  • Support the web development product owner in other related tasks and projects as needed

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Recent Graduate (No more than 1 year of your graduation) - bachelor's degree in any of the following careers: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, or others
  • Familiarity with server-side programing languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby) and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, Cosmos DB, SQL a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated individual
  • Advance English skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Location: Mexico City

Way of work: Hybrid model / Full - Time

Contract: Fixed term 18 months
