Duties: Deliver individual project consulting andbasic technical expertise in core product portfolio in the domains ofmechanical and process engineering. Implement software solutions for clients inprocess industries for engineering, operation, and maintenance of processplants and asset management. Gather customers' information regarding productLifecycle management needs and identify requirements for structured databasesand workflows within COMOS. Develop COMOS software to plan and operate processplants including chemical, energy, water, waste, pharmaceuticals, oil, naturalgas, food, etc. Review and document client's existing engineering model.Develop implementation and test plans. Architect and design software solutionbased on customer requirements. Document the 'Functional Design' for client'sreview and approval. Develop COMOS database configurations and configure baseobjects accordingly to enable full functionality in customer systems. Configuredevelopment and test environment. Train super-users, users and CAD/CAEprofessionals to use the COMOS product within their workflows to ensure maximumbenefits from the implemented solution. Configure required engineeringdocuments such as: Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and InstrumentationDiagram (P&ID).

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor'sdegree, or foreign equivalent, in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineeringor related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a SystemsEngineer/Systems Architect - related occupation. Position requires experiencein the following: 5 years of experience with oil and gas orpetro-chemical-based engineering lifecycle management software products; 5years of experience with COMOS implementation projects as an architect; Workingwith solid FEED and P&ID modules project implementation; Performing COMOSDB advanced query configuration, COMOS admin advanced skills on base dataconfiguration, and COMOS customized plugins development; Performing databasequery scripting and modeling; Working in Agile Software development; Workingwith industrial simulation tools such as Pro II, HYSYS, and HTRI.
