We developed the Genesis Programme to attract the best and brightest recent engineering university graduates interested in starting their careers in a fast-paced services environment.
Our Programme consists of a 10-month intensive training that provides hands-on experience with the tools and skills needed to contribute to customer projects. Hosted by our leadership and training teams, the Programme covers a variety of how-to topics, ranging from soft skills and customer-facing projects to implementation.
What we're looking for
We are looking for a recent University Graduate who is eager to own their career journey through learning, networking, collaboration, and growth discussions. As an Associate Consultant, you will engage in a challenging but rewarding period of learning, helping you build the skills and knowledge required to make meaningful contributions to a wide range of projects in various sectors. Training topics span interpersonal skills, core business workflows, and key product and solution areas.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and high-performing team with whom there will be frequent interaction.
What you'll be doing
- Commit to accelerated learning programmes on Siemens software tools (CAD and PLM solutions, etc), business processes, competency based and soft skills.
- Engage in customer-facing projects under the guidance of skilled consultants and project managers.
- Support project delivery in alignment with Siemens' Project Management Methodology.
- Contribute to internal collaboration and the promotion of collective learning and efficient work methods.
- Work side-by-side with the local team in our Pretoria office and build real connections while gaining hands-on experience.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computer science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant industry-focused field.
- Strong desire to work collaboratively in a supportive and proactive team environment.
- Interest in engaging with customers and contributing to real-world projects.
- Willingness to participate in intensive trainings and continuously develop technical and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional dedication to collaborative work and sharing standard methodologies within teams or across functions.
- Self-starter who can show initiative and work autonomously when required.
Availability to attend an assessment centre in our Pretoria office in October/November 2025.
