JobDescription:

We are seeking a dynamic and professional technicalperson, who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast paced, fun and friendlyenvironment. In this position you will be focused on technical support ofSiemens EDA leading edge Calibre products.

Drive adoption of Siemens EDA Calibre family of software productsby executing both pre-sale and post-sale technical support activities. Assesshow company products meet customer needs. Prepare product specifications fordevelopment and installation of customized applications/solutions. Develop anddeliver software demonstrations and technical presentations. Present softwaresolutions at conferences and technical forums to increase awareness of productsand generate leads. Perform benchmark evaluations for customers. Provideon-site support during enablement, integration and deployment of and whenissues arise with use of Siemens EDA software products. Work with area salesmanagement, account teams and customers to understand business opportunities.Contribute to technical sales plans and communicate with peers and fieldtechnical management on progress and account status. Provide pre-sale technicalsupport in sales presentations and product demonstrations. Work with marketingand product managers to define new products and provide insight from the field.Establish strategies to broaden target applications for software products.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum educationrequired for the position and fields of study
    • Master's degree,or foreign academic equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, ComputerEngineering, VLSI or Will also accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign academicequivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, VLSI

Required Skills

  • RequiredExperience with IC Physical Verification including (Calibre, ICV, Assura, PVS)
  • PreferredExperience with IC Digital Design or Custom Layout and or related CAD skills
  • PreferredExperience with DRC (Design Rule Checking), LVS (Layout vs. Schematic), ERC(Electrical Rule Checks), PEX (Parasitic Extraction), PERC (ProgrammableElectrical Rule Checking) type verification flows
  • PreferredExperience with IC Digital Design (Place and Route) tools

Good To have

  • Must enjoy workingwith customers and in large team environment
  • Expert level scripting/ programming skills is a plus
  • A workingfamiliarity of Unix and Linux OS, and previous experience with scripting or Cprogramming required
  • Strongcommunication skills
  • Proactiveself-starter with a focus on results
  • Motivated teamplayer/leader
  • Exposure to salesand applications environment is a plus

The total cash compensation range for this position is $116,000 to $232,200 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
