Siemens EDAis looking for an experienced Emulation/FPGA Prototyping Consultant inthe EMEA region. This role is ideally suited to someone with strong technicalexpertise in emulation and/or FPGA prototyping systems, blended with excellentbusiness development, project management and customer interfacing skills. Thisis an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most interesting andinnovative companies in the semiconductor industry.
Theconsultant role will be mainly focused around technical services delivery. Thiscould range from platform enablement to methodology assistance. Interactionsmay be direct with the customer or collaborative through a wider technicalteam. This position will require a combination of remote, office and onsiteworking. As a consultant, you will also be expected to identify opportunities,drive new business, develop offerings, and grow the consulting practice.
TechnicalCompetencies
• A good understandingof Strato/Primo/proFPGA hardware anatomy and system configurations
• Working knowledge andexperience using Veloce/VPS software for compilation and runtime
• Practicalinsights into the application and usage of emulation/FPGA prototyping systems
• Knowledgeof design mapping, testbench mapping and transactor development
• Knowledgeof Veloce Apps. e.g. Coverage, Assertions, Power, DFT, Codelink, etc.
• Expertiseof hardware/software debug solutions related to emulation/FPGA prototyping
• Knowledgeof TBX, ICE and targetless environments
• Highlyproficient in HDLs (Verilog/SV) for RTL design and HVLs (SV/UVM) for verification
• Solidbackground in Functional Verification, RTL synthesis and PnR flows
• Conversantwith SoC design and architecture concepts
DesirableCompetencies
• Familiaritywith Data Centre hosting and Cloud-based solutions
• Knowledgeof standard interface protocols such as PCIe, AMBA, USB, DDR, DisplayPort, etc.
• Commercial awareness ofEDA companies and solutions
• Linux, Tcl/Python/shell,C/C++, DPI, SCE-MI, SystemC, UVM Connect, UVM Framework
• Backgroundin consulting or other customer services discipline

• BSc/MScqualified in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Teamplayer and individual contributor
• Lateralthinker and problem solver with a pragmatic approach
• Excellentcommunication and presentation skills
• Outgoingand enthusiastic personality
• Happy tolearn new technologies and methodologies when needed
• English languagemandatory, other European languages beneficial
• Ability andwillingness to travel including rights to work onsite within EMEA
