About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated SoftwareDevelopment Engineer to work as a member of the DevOps team supporting thecompany's overall development effort. You will be responsible for designing,developing, debugging and supporting core software with a focus on the automation-testingframework, regression testing suite, auxiliary tools, and package management.

The position is also responsible for the evaluationof third-party tools.
The position will work with internal customersto gather requirements and establish verification standards. Internal customersinclude quality assurance, production and development personnel.
The position will also work closely withsystem administrators and core process engineers. The ability to communicateclearly and precisely is required.
Within the Tools Development team, we willneed to transition to adopt several tools from different organizations. It isinefficient to maintain a large number of tools for similar purposes. Thereforewe will need to access tooling with analogue functions and work withstakeholders to develop a proposal for reduction and alignment. This will be along-term project, likely spanning several years.
This position will focus on the ongoingdevelopment and improvement of systems used by Development personnel thatsupport the continuous building and testing of our product throughout thedevelopment cycle.
Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of systems tosupport product development teams Development and maintenance of tools andsoftware services to support automated Software Development Life Cycle.
Advocate for Test Driven Design and goodsoftware product design practices, including working with software developmentteams to ensure that quality gates are met.
Migration of legacy architectures to enable Cloudworking paradigms such as SaaS.
Work without supervision on complex projects,given complete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise.

Your qualifications
We would love to hear from you as a passionateengineer who graduated in computer science, with demonstrable experience inDevOps, Software Development/Test automation, in an Agile environment.You are familiar with SaaS technologies and ideally have alreadycontributed to the transition from SaaP to SaaS.
• Tosucceed in this position, good communication skills are the key: youneed to collaborate, drive, and influence all your internal customers toimprove code health. On the other hand, you can contribute to a team discussionin an international context, listen to other perspectives, be a dedicatedteammate, bringing help and problem-solving to assist other teammembers. Self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to set personalgoals and work consistently towards them in a dynamic environment will go fartoward contributing to your success.
• Youwill have experience with automated software delivery pipelines and tooling tosupport fast efficient delivery of a high-quality product.
• Youjoin us with a deep understanding of the development environment with any of Python,Java/Groovy, C++/C# and csh/bash. You are familiar with Linux and Windowsoperating systems, i.e. RedHat, CentOS, and SUSE.
• Youshowcase expertise in using build tools (make, Cmake, Ant, Maven, and/orGradle) and continuous build tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, and Docker.Ideally, you were exposed to one or more tools such as Jenkins, Coverity, BlackDuck, SonarQube etc.
Cherry on the cake - expertise in one ormany of the following areas will make a difference:C++; Pentaho; Physics or math; CAD or 3D graphics; Graphic design; Parallelcomputing; Business Intelligence solutions, such as Pentaho or Oracle/SAP.
