Duties: Work on Functional Verificationtools and technology which involves specialized knowledge in Register Transferlevel architecture design and verification using advanced UniversalVerification Methodology, validation of Intellectual Property, and debuggingcomplex clock/reset domain crossing and seertion based formal technologies.Collaborate with the sales team, product development team and the customers todeploy emerging features and drive adoption. Support to help drive incrementalsales and support revenue with our Functional Verification customers. Supportdeployment and adoption of Questa Verification IPs, Questa Static Formal/CDC,Questa Visualizer and QuestaSim products at our top customers. Support migratecustomer designs to the latest version of the tool and also the emergingfeatures to improve run time and debug performance. Support product developmentand QA teams to help resolve critical customer bugs and improve the quality ofthe products. Serve as trusted advisor to the customers; transfer knowledgewith the other members of the team to help build strong expertise with theteams. Support post-sales andcollaborate with the sales teams on the pre-sales Functional Verificationactivities for Semiconductor companies and supporting both Application SpecificIntegrated Circuit & field programmable gate array domains. Coordinate withproduct development teams, customers and the sales teams to help deployemerging features and product updates. Provide customer training on FunctionalVerification products. Perform Beta testing and collaborate with R&D todrive product direction and capabilities of Functional Verification products.Track and update customer issues using Siemens' processes and tracking tools.Develop technical content for Siemens' knowledge-base. Communicate customers'technical requirements as well as priority and impact, influencing the productteam to meet customer's needs and shape product direction. Work collaborativelywith the customer and team members to ensure mutual success. Develop positive,technical relationship with our customers, sales teams, and the productengineering teams.

Requirements: Employer will accept aMaster's degree, or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field andcompletion of at least 1 graduate level course in each of the following: VHDL,Verilog, or SystemVerilog RTL languages for ASIC or FPGA design; UVM and SystemVerilog for verification; Object-Oriented Programming in test bencharchitecture and design; Windows and Linux OS; Scripting languages (Shell, Tcl,Perl, or Python).
