Digital Verification Technologies (DVT) division seeks highly qualified Backend Software Engineer with diverse experience to help in building and maintaining new applications on top of Questa Verification IQ.

Questa Verification IQ (QVIQ) its Siemens next generation web-based collaborative verification management system recently launched.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow members to conceptualize, design and develop business requirements into usable product.
  • Work within an agile scrum team to develop new features and support our customers.
  • Develop and maintain our web-based applications & framework.
  • Our stack uses Java Spring with Hibernate to interface with various SQL databases and Angular, CSS, HTML, and bootstrap for the front-end.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software design and architecture, required for candidates with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience with software engineering best practices, including testing, reviews, and design documentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of JAVA and object-oriented programming (OOP), with experience in development on UNIX/LINUX platforms.
  • Excellent programming and software engineering skills, with strong proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
  • Proficiency in code optimization to achieve better performance and memory efficiency, along with the ability to learn, explore, and innovate with complex technologies.
  • Very good knowledge of Client/Server architectures, Web Services (particularly RESTful Web Services), and SQL/noSQL databases.
  • Self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to set and work consistently toward personal goals in a dynamic environment, coupled with highly developed communication skills in English.
  • Experience in HDL languages like VHDL and Verilog, awareness or experience with data visualization techniques, and previous experience with Hibernate/JPA are advantageous.
