Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Freemont, CA is$215,197 - $278,900 per year andthis role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Developproduct and deployment scalability of the Questa Design Solutions productsincluding lint, clock-domain crossing, and reset-domain crossing. Work closelywith product development teams, marketing managers, application engineers andcustomers. Define product features and methodologies to address current andemerging design challenges. Work closely with product development and marketingteams to connect these challenges with current and emerging technicalsolutions. Guide large ASIC customers on design solutions methodologies anddrive product rollout to evolve the next generation of products. Supportmarketing teams by performing market research, product positioning, andcreating supporting presentation materials. Present and demonstrate the QuestaDesign Solutions products in conferences, seminars, and events. Work with ASICcustomers to understand their challenges and flows. Maintain customerrelationships and support customer facing activities including productdemonstrations, training, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking. Developsolutions to solve customer problems based on insight into the customers'environment. Oversee technical relationships with customer base. Delivertechnical presentations, demonstrations, and training to a range of audiencesincluding users, managers, and decision-makers. Influence product direction bygathering customer requirements and defining the use models. Participate in newfeature specification, development, and validation processes to ensure the productmeets customer requirements.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, inElectrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and ComputerEngineering, Technology, or related field and 84 months of experience in thejob offered or in an Application Engineer - related occupation. This positionrequires experience in the following: Programmingusing Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, TCL/TK, and Perl; Working with EDA tools,such as Questa CDC, Synopsys Design Compiler, PrimeTime, SpyGlass tools, CadenceNC, or Jasper; Working with clock domain crossing constructs and schemes;Performing static and formal based validation; Debugging RTL designs. 25%telecommuting is permitted within a commutable distance. 15% domestic and international travel isrequired.
