About the job:
You will work closely together with other people within and outside of the team. For this we use a hybrid approach with an excellent balance work-from-home/office. Our in-house developed frameworks, tooling and agile approach have indeed proven to be compatible with remote working whereas regular everybody-in-the-office moments allow to keep the team spirit alive.
- Engage with custom IC design customers to assess their support needs, analyze design methodologies, and identify training requirements.
- Collaborate with account teams to strategize the deployment of IC design, simulation, verification, and place-and-route (P&R) workflows.
- Communicate effectively with product teams to ensure smooth deployment and address customer requests promptly.
- Provide day-to-day support for IC design tools and their integration with other Siemens simulation, verification, and P&R solutions.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and support tickets.
- Diagnose software-related issues and bugs related to IC design tools and offer effective resolutions or workarounds for customers.
- Document resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base to enhance the support experience.
- Create instructional videos and participate in webinars to support user training and documentation.
All about you:
You have a Master/Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry or physical design.
- Preferred hands-on experience with EDA tools such as S-Edit, L-Edit, Calibre DRC, Calibre LVS, AFS, SDE, and Aprisa.
- Any programming experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
