Duties: Provide technical support for customers. Enable customersto make productive use of their investment in products. Handle cases regularlydemonstrating advanced knowledge of their field. Assist junior engineersworking on cases. Search for, re-use, and improve existing knowledgebasecontent. Create new knowledgebase content where appropriate. Review and publishcontent. Curate published content. Communicate software/hardware problems todevelopment. Document requests to enhance software and hardware functionalityfor product development where applicable. Collaborate with sales team to ensurerenewal, adoption, and expansion of supported products and manage customerexpectations. Follow defined work processes, provide feedback on practical useof these processes, and recommend changes. Technical lead in guidingApplication Support Engineer Associate, Application Support Engineer andApplication Support Engineer Advanced in questions on day to day business andproduct knowledge.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreignequivalent, in Electrical Engineering or in a related field. Position requirescoursework or experience in the following: Transmission line theory and its applicationto printed circuit board layout, and termination strategies; ElectromagneticInterference principles; Performing simulations on Printing Circuit Boards"PCBs" using EDA simulation software; Modeling EMI and transmission lineeffects; S-parameters and SPICE; and Managing return paths and targetimpedance.
