Application Specialist - Turbomachinery - Simcenter - w/m

Turbomachineryas a whole and howit is looked at Simulation & Test Solutions segment can be classified asone of 3 major themes: Digitalization, Electrification and Design. So,in your role as specialist your will be exposed to the most challenging topicsin industrial turbomachinery spanning durability, aircraft propulsionelectrification or predictive maintenance to name a view. The initial focushowever is firmly on digitalization of manufactured parts, combusteranalysis and blade cooling design.

As anApplication Specialist, and involved on complex topics, you will bring value inthe sales process to facilitate sales of Simulation solutions by engaging withcustomers on turbomachinery topics, to gather high level customers business andtechnical requirements to determine customer needs.

Buildingeffective and valuable relationships (internal and external) is central to therole. So naturally,you need to create trust and credibility with our customers and be great atspotting the opportunity for true business value. You are acting as a trustedadviser on our customer's challenges, and how Siemens can improve theirbusiness.

Yourrole will be at the interface between inbound and outbound activities:

• You develop and deliver technicaldemonstrators aiming at evidencing the gaps and/or proposing how to improvethe overall performance and comprehensiveness of the targeted workflows, discussed,and agreed with the product management stakeholders.

• You assemble material based oncontributions from various solutions in the Simcenter portfolio to ensurevisibility, positioning, presence of Simcenter Applications in the variousindustries it serves and related marketing and sales campaign assets. Youcontribute to branding and reputation by delivering assets highlighting thevalue, the differentiators and the uniqueness of what Simulation and Test candeliver in context of turbomachinery. Together with the Simcenter ApplicationProduct managers for Turbomachinery, you support synchronization activitieswith the complete Simcenter product management organization to drive theexecution of the strategic roadmap, from initial sharing of requirements untildelivery and presentation in context of enablement activities and early adopterprograms.

Your qualifications

We wouldlove to hear from you if you have an engineering degree, and a comprehensiveexperience in using simulation solutions (CAE, CFD, Systemssimulation, testing, etc.), either in the industry and/or in a context oftechnical presales or consultant roles. We are looking for someone with a deepknowledge of applying simulation in the context of Turbomachinery. Youshould come with an ability to find innovative approaches to problem solvingand to show initiative in overcoming challenges.

• Your demonstrated experience increating a solution vision and strategy, including an understanding ofthe market, and the problems they face helps you create high value, showinitiative and accountability within a dynamic work environment.

• Thanks to your excellentcommunication skills in English, you build positive relationships with yourcolleagues, and you can lead cross-functional teams, regardless of reportingstructure. You are a strong team player and creative thinker who can work withmulti-cultural, dispersed technical teams.

As theparticularity of the team is to be cross applications domains, you will workwith many different actors and key experts for each ongoing project: youwill need to show flexibility, agility & internal networking skills.
