As an Associate RotationEngineer, you will be involved in a structured Associate Rotation EngineerTraining Program. This is a fast-track paid training program that challengesyou to develop the expertise needed to tackle difficult technical problems.
Associate Rotation Engineersare members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customerscrafting the most sophisticated hardware and software systems in the world andwhose applications span the electronics industry. This training program willgive you outstanding insight into our technical marketing, product support, andsales organizations. Upon successful completion of this 12-month trainingprogram, you will be eligible to advance into one of these organizations.Post-program opportunities include Field Application Engineer, CorporateApplications Engineer, and Technical Marketing Engineer positions.
Associate positions requireexcellent interpersonal and written communication skills; self-motivated andresults-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Some travel may berequired.
RequiredExperience:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical,Electronics or Computer Engineering
- Coursework/Experience with HDL-based,register-transfer-level (RTL), digital logic design, verification languages,and functional verification methodology, for ASICs and/or FPGAs - Testbencharchitecture, design and implementation using UVM verification methodology,VHDL and/or Verilog HDL simulation, SystemVerilog and Assertion-BasedVerification techniques
- Understanding of object-oriented conceptsas applied to a Verification Environment.
- Must have some experience in thesespecific areas: UNIX, Linux, Sun Solaris.
- Languages - Verilog (Behavioral, RTL, gatelevel), VHDL (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), TCL, Perl, C/C++
- CAD Tools - Synthesis, Simulation
- Proficy in written and spoken English
PreferredExperience:
- Course work and project experience with FPGA
- Familiarity with emulation and FPGA protyping such asour Veloce product
- Course work and project experience and programmingskills C/C++, Tcl/TK, PERL
