Siemens Digital Industries Software (DI SW) business segments are on an explosive journey of adding Artificial Intelligence offerings to its broad & diverse product portfolio targeted to improve the value proposition and efficiency of our customers.

A central "Data & AI Program" has been established to coordinate, drive & support multitude of AI Initiatives. We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to be part of this critical program and take on the role of a Principal Product Manager reporting to the Global AI Program Manager.

This is a cross-segment AI Program level role, requiring extreme collaborative engagement across all the DI SW Segments & Product Lines, GS&CS, Partnership team, Legal and various other functions. It will also include collaborating with broader Siemens Business in DI, FT and IT.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Definition & alignment of Overall AI Vision & Strategy across DI SW business segments. Define & coordinate concrete "wins" across the portfolio.
  • Stay on top of dynamically changing Competitive & Market dynamics, & apply insights to AI Strategy and Positioning
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and communicate our product direction to customers and partners
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Industries, Sales, Services, Technology Office, Marketing, and product segments to solicit feedback, balance meaningful priorities and identify compelling solutions to the market
  • Collaborate with Segment Product teams for creating standardized responses to Customer queries on AI offerings
  • Own Product Management responsibilities for cross-business product offerings
  • Coordinate activities with Product Managers from multiple business / product lines
  • Support & participate in Monetization initiatives & workstreams, focused on Pricing and Packaging of AI offerings
  • Own & Drive an up-to-date running Inventory of all AI capabilities across all businesses
  • Support interactions & engagement planning with Partners (e.g. hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft)

Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Strong background in both business and technical roles
  • Able to optimally connect with senior management and corporate level customers
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills
  • Ability to work autonomously on multiple highly sophisticated projects simultaneously

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (MBA is a strong plus)
  • 10+ years of relevant & demonstratable work experience in Technical Product Management
  • 10+ years of enterprise software & technology experience
  • 5+ years Cross Organization engagement & Ability to interface with internal and external customers of varying technical abilities (Development, Sales, Services, Partners, etc.)
  • Ability to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundaries

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Understanding of evolving AI technologies - Generative, LLMs, RAG, Agents, Agent Frameworks
  • Understanding and experience of modern enterprise data & integration architectural patterns
  • Deep industrial knowledge and experience in one or more sectors; Enterprise / IT, PLM, OT

The salary range for this position is $151,300 to $272,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
