PositionOverview
Asa member of Siemens EDA Technology Solution Sales, you are responsible for workingwith leading edge customers defining methodologies to solve their hardestproblems verifying the correct function of their latest ICs. You will own development and execution of thestrategy to achieve business targets and strategic objectives for hardware-assistedfunctional verification products (hardware prototyping and emulation) within the United States.
TheATM drives the relative priorities of all hardware assisted verificationopportunities in the territory, and provides a clear direction for resourceallocation to the field management and business unit.
Responsibilities include:
- Foster relationshipswith customers to better understand their challenges and propose Siemenssolutions where appropriate.
- Develop the customer-facing product introductionstrategy, in partnership with field technical management.
- Define, lead andmanage the account campaigns
- Develop a richworking knowledge of the trends affecting the electronics business in general,and your customers specifically
- Create and deliverpresentations at local industry events (United States) to represent Siemens EDA'sproduct portfolio to the public
- Serve as the keyfield resource in your area to summarize competitive offerings and trends
- Thisposition, under normal circumstances, may involve up to 40% travel. Currently, Siemens travel is constrained insome regions and subject to change.
JobQualifications
Thesuccessful candidate will possess the following combination of education andexperience:
- Four year Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of contemporary digital designverification practices employing hardware acceleration
- Commonly, 5 to 8 years of related and relevant experience invarious aspects of hardware-assisted functional verification
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Customer-facing experience is a significant plus.
- Working knowledge of financial metrics and the vocabulary usedin business
- Organizational knowledge including formal and informalstructures
- Product, market, and industry knowledge in emulation andverification technology
- Solid history of using your wits and experience to originateand drive creative solutions
- Professional presence at the Director and C-level
- Ability to influence and manage indirectly

The total cashcompensation range for this position is $181,300 to $362,600 with 30% of this beingcomprised of an annual incentive target. If you live in the Bay Area the total cash compensation range for this position is $204,600 to $388,900 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensationoffered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well asadditional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training.Siemens offers a variety of health andwellness benefits to employees.
