Account Development Representative

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for opening new accounts or new departments in existing customer base. Works directly with selling teams, in an assigned region, to identify, penetrate, and cultivate new business opportunities. Execution of new business strategies will include research, cold calling, social selling and advanced qualification. Team members will set meetings, schedule technical resources, track activity and proactively update selling teams on next steps for new and developing opportunities. Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Works under moderate supervision and usually receives detailed instructions on all work.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and qualifying new business prospects through research, cold calling, social selling, and marketing automation tools.
- Collaborating with sales teams to define target accounts and develop tailored pursuit strategies.
- Scheduling meetings, coordinating technical resources, and maintaining detailed activity tracking to ensure seamless handoff and follow-through.
- Providing regular updates to sales teams on opportunity status, next steps, and engagement outcomes.
- Executing outreach campaigns using platforms such as LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to educate, engage, and convert prospects.
- Applying marketing automation workflows to enhance lead generation and demand development efforts.
This role requires a high level of coordination, communication, and initiative. While assignments are generally routine, the Account Development Rep is expected to exercise sound judgment and operate with moderate supervision.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or direct selling.
- Demonstrated ability to open doors and build relationships across various organizational levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized and capable of managing a large volume of opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
- Ability to research and synthesize information quickly into actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in overcoming objections.

The salary range for this position is $71,000 to $142,000 . The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.

The pay range for this position is 71,100 - 142,200 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
