The role
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer who can autonomously drive ongoing business impact within a team, product capability, or technical system. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering high-impact solutions. Your role will involve introducing new features, implementing innovative functionalities, and optimizing performance to contribute significantly to our projects.
Where you'll work
You have to be located in Poland to be considered for this position. You'll have the flexibility to choose between remote work or working from our office in Warsaw.
What you'll be doing
- Owning and proactively delivering goals for your team.
- Designing, planning, and implementing technical solutions for complex business problems and high-impact projects.
- Guiding and coaching teams on best practices in coding and architecture areas.
- Improving operational processes in the product lifecycle to improve the efficiency of teams (e.g. CI/CD, Agile).
- Designing, planning, and implementing high-impact cross-team projects.
What you'll need
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience in defining technical roadmaps for multi-phase projects with significant impact.
- Proficiency in creating cohesive designs involving multiple components interacting across API or system boundaries.
- Experience in reliably rolling out major components or features, including the deprecation of existing systems or features.
