The Credentialing Lead participates as a member of the credentialing leadership team to coordinate, manage, and execute on the implementation, processing of credentials, business expansion with quality top of mind. The credentialing lead will act as a liaison and subject matter expert to internal and external customers, stakeholders, and governmental bodies or agencies.

  • Owns credentialing processes and coordinates with inside legal counsel to define requirements for healthcare providers onboarding on the platform.
  • Partners with quality assurance and training teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance to credentialing processes and requirements.
  • Oversees quality assurance for assigned regions.
  • Coordinate and communicate quality and credentialing insights and issues with third-party vendors.
  • Manages and mentors credentialing specialists and defines activities and scope of work.
  • Investigates and adjudicates fingerprint-based background checks.
  • Participates as a member of a project team geared towards implementing new credentials, therapies, specialties, and verticals.
  • Assists in facilitating a positive relationship between Shiftkey and clients or government agencies.
  • Investigates and responds to questions and concerns raised by legal, revenue, operations, or other internal departments.
  • Assists credentialing director/manager in executing on larger strategic initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
