Quality Assurance Manager
Quality Lead of the Plant who drives processes and tools to continuously improve quality of product and services. Develops, implements, and ensures commitment to processes, procedures, and standards ensuring increased customer satisfaction. Focus on Customer Satisfaction through Complaint investigation; root cause determination; corrective measures enforced; and report out to Commercial teams/ customers. Focus on continual improvement efforts through Opportunity Cost reduction, effective/efficient processes throughout all Plant departments, Risk assessment and mitigation. Lead driver for Sherwin Williams' Global Business Management System, ensuring Management Reviews are performed monthly and are effective. Maintain site IS09001:2015 certification. Implement actions driving performance that will allow site to meet KPl's for Quality initiatives. Lead investigator for internal non-conformance's and drive corrective actions through influence.
Actively participate in Region quality improvement efforts.

- Leads continuous improvement of Plant and Lab processes to improve product quality and customer satisfaction
- Ensure site follows all requirements set forth by Sherwin Williams’ Global Business Management System and ISO9001:2015. Ensures site is continuously “audit ready”
- Initiates and leads investigation of Customer Complaints, organizing and driving required actions to obtain root cause, while also working with team to develop effective corrective actions and implementation. Determine effectiveness of actions and verification through data analysis and audits of production facility
- Develop reports (8D; ARC; etc.) to respective parties, including customers, sales, Plant personnel, and senior leadership
- Implement Product Control Plans; utilize site PFMEA to drive preventative actions based on risk.
- Ensures quality procedures and standards are followed and met
- Performs site audits for each process to ensure current standards and procedures are being followed or if further improvement is required. Drive needed improvements
- Works closely with, and is part of, Site Leadership Team
- Assist with new formula introduction and Plant manufacturing acceptance
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement efforts in cross-functional capacity, including Manufacturing, R+D, Quality, Commercial, and Technical Services Representatives
- Lead site efforts in driving correct activities that will allow site Quality Metrics to be met
- Continuous improvement of Plant quality results as determined through Site KPI metrics
- Standards and procedures that support consistent attainment of quality goals
- Root Cause determination and system level corrective action implementation
- Enhanced customer satisfaction by initiating actions that will drive down customer complaints
- Drive down Opportunity Cost by development of programs and ensuring adherence to meet goals
- Ensure site is operating within the Quality System Management requirements
Develop systems, processes and procedures that increase the probability of quality results. - Implementing new systems, processes, and procedures that are developed by the incumbent or the Division.
- Drive a quality mind set throughout the site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
- Must have five (5) years experience troubleshooting in R&D, quality assurance or operations environment
- Must have two (2) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising/managing others, or leading teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have prior work experience with Quality testing and Statistical data evaluation
- Have an ISO9001-2015 Lead auditor or Management System certification
- Have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
