What's the role

The Shell Carson Distribution Facility and the Shell Mormon Island Marine Terminal manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of refined products-including gasoline, distillates, ethanol, and chemicals-for Shell customers and third parties. Maintain current terminal tank info, products, and shareholders, and forward specific distribution
  • Issue orders for jet tank sampling and testing to ensure enough product is ready and certified for shipping. Manage and conduct RVP blend-down plan for Carson Terminal, Mormon Island Terminal, Signal Hill, and Van Nuys Terminals
  • Ethanol train scheduling: work with customers, rail companies, and suppliers to establish an acceptable monthly rail plan. Track rail demurrage, review, challenge, and approve demurrage invoices
