Facility Security Agent Supervisor
Overview:
Assist Senior Leadership of Security & Risk in the operational oversight of the physical security for multiple operations support facilities. Responsible for the management and training of security team members to ensure that all locations and offices are safe and secure. Leads efforts to promote and support physical security of assigned facilities and personnel. Responsible for oversight of and maintains control of visitor reception and management for assigned locations.
Responsibilities:1. Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and presenting developmental opportunities while promoting a positive culture
2. Assist senior management with aligning operations objectives to the strategic goals of the department.
3. Collaborate with senior management to create, schedule, and execute all training programs and operational standards for the Facility Security Agent (FSA) group.
4. Act as the subject matter expert in providing guidance on all-security requirements for events and information and assist managers with security-related challenges within their teams.
5. Schedule, supervise and conduct physical presence and security patrols of the facility on foot or in a vehicle.
6. Manage, and record the entrance/exit of all visitors to the facility utilizing the operations of the visitor management system and applicable policies; work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and all law enforcement entities in their area.
7. Stay up to date on Security industry standards and trends through research of the law, the use of deadly force, and security; provide updates and regularly train team members on these items.
8. Make instantaneous well-reasoned decisions regarding the use of deadly force, and train team members annually on such events.
9. Manage and respond to internal and external facility incidents to de-escalate them, coordinate with emergency services personnel, and render aid, as appropriate.
10. Interact with each FSA who is on duty at least one time each day; and regularly call or attend any special events in your coverage area.
11. Manage and schedule all FSAs at each location with guidance from senior leadership.

Education
• Bachelors degree in a related field of study required
Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in armed security operations, including threat assessment, use-of-force protocols, and protective procedures required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing armed teams, ideally in a facility-based or mission-critical setting (e.g., corporate security, government building, nuclear plant, data center) required.
• Previous experience enforcing and developing security policies preferred
Licenses/Certifications
• PA Act 235 required.
• Basic First Aid required (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• CPR/AED- Adult and Pediatric required (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Handgun concealed carry permit for the state in which duties are performed required (ability to obtain within 10 days of employment).
• Valid State-issued driver’s license required.
