What will you do?

This Executive Assistant will be a critical catalyst in the elevation of our CEO and the direct impact that will have on the growth of Sealed. You will take ownership of the CEO's calendar, overseeing all logistical aspects of her daily, weekly, and monthly schedule. It's essential that you are a pleasant gatekeeper, and that you ensure she is focusing on her top priorities. Your thorough research, proactive approach, and strategic thinking will contribute to the CEO's preparedness for various engagements.

Taking the lead on projects and shepherding them from inception to completion will be a central part of your role. You will serve as the key facilitator for travel coordination, ensuring seamless arrangements for the Sealed Executive Team. Your contributions will be vital in organizing and overseeing executive offsite meetings, providing essential support to our leadership team. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the People Team, driving new hire and employee engagement initiatives for the Sealed team. You will also run point on the operational aspects of the Sealed HQ NYC office, further contributing to the smooth functioning of our dynamic workplace.

What success looks like:

Success as an Executive Assistant at Sealed is characterized by a receptive attitude towards feedback and an ambitious drive. Confident, proactive decision-making and strong intuition is a crucial asset in this role. The ability to thrive in a smaller, rapidly growing organization with inherent ambiguity is essential. you will assume office management responsibilities initially and both company and individual priorities will be highly dynamic over time.

You will partner closely with Sealed's Chief of Staff and you'll be visible to a range of external stakeholders, including Board members. Genuine curiosity towards our company, climate tech, and the executive you support is a must.

Your resourcefulness and strategic approach enable you to see multiple solutions to every problem. Autonomy is a strength, and you're adept at holding yourself accountable for delivering results. Your interactions, whether internal or external, represent our CEO's reputation, is something you take seriously. Juggling multiple priorities is your forte, and you're trusted not to let any balls drop while maintaining strict confidentiality. Flexibility is your ally as you embrace the rapid changes of a scaling company. You're at ease in a fast-paced environment, understanding that agility doesn't equate to burnout; it signifies our efficient approach to getting things done.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant capacity (it's okay if it wasn't for a CEO specifically, but needs to be a senior executive)
  • Experience working without the support of other executive assistants preferred, but not mandatory
  • Able to work in a hybrid format with an average of 2-3 days working onsite from our NYC headquarters and other days working remotely in a setting of your choice
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with artful management and communication of expectations
  • Meticulous attention-to-detail and proactive approach to work
  • Open to receiving constructive feedback and adept at implementing suggested improvements
Salary:

The expected salary range for this role is $102,000 - $132,000. We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level.
