We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Logistics Team Lead to oversee daily operations and lead a team of warehouse associates. This role requires hands-on operation of specialized equipment and a strong focus on team coordination, training, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Assign and oversee daily tasks to warehouse associates to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Monitor team performance and provide real-time feedback and support.
- Equipment Operation
- Operate Combo Lift to safely transport Enclosures and Modules within the warehouse.
- Operate Robot systems to move Modules and Enclosures as part of
- automated logistics processes.
- Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and timely replenishment.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and update records.
- Training & Development
- Provide comprehensive training to new and existing associates on equipment usage, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Offer ongoing guidance and mentorship to promote skill development and team growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.
- College degree desired
- Certification or demonstrated proficiency in operating Combo Lifts and robotic warehouse systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to train and motivate team members effectively.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or team lead role.
- Valid certification or demonstrated proficiency in operating Combo Lifts and robotic warehouse systems.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and task tracking
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated warehouse systems.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve operational issues.
- Forklift certification or additional equipment operation experience.
