Where is the Position?
This position is based in Horgen in Switzerland, in centrale Europe, within the multicultural quality team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Which missions will you lead?
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure product quality and compliance through defined processes and continuous improvement. You'll work with a team of seven, focusing on switches, socket outlets, and data connectors, reporting to the CS&Q Manager Plant Feller. Your role includes auditing outputs, resolving defects, and supporting consistent, timely product delivery. Your main missions will be:
- Ensure that the requirements for the quality control of products and processes are following our quality control plan, and that we have the means to mitigate any quality issues.
- Identify non-quality factors continuously, conduct or have other departments conduct in-depth analyses and monitor quality improvement plans.
- Identify potential issues before they occur and implement preventive solutions.
- Solve quality manufacturing issues affecting customers quickly and effectively through containment, correction, and prevention steps.
- Make sure that workers are adequately trained and follow quality instructions.
- Follow up on KPIs during daily Performance board meetings and animate/conduct systematic problem solving in the production/assembly process.
- Plan and take any necessary actions to provide adequate confidence/evidence that a product or service will satisfy given contractual/explicit customer requirements.
- Convey our quality results to the production teams. This includes reject rates, nonconformities, suggesting continuous quality improvements, and developing both existing and new products.
- Take part of implementation of the quality fundamentals to the production by animating and driving projects for the implementation of different tools and processes.

What are the qualifications we are looking for?
Education: Engineer degree or equivalent.
Work experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as quality engineer or related field (internship/apprenticeship included).
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & knowledge of quality Tools.
- Analytical and structured mindset.
- Knowledge of legal regulations and standards related to quality.
Requested languages : Fluent English.

- Good communication skills.
- Open-minded, flexible, and sociable personality.
- Quick adaptability to new environments.
- Motivated to drive change and contribute innovative ideas.
