Transactional Project Manager

What will you do?
Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to assume a hybrid role of project tendering and execution in our Calgary or Edmonton locations.
You will be accountable for preparation of quotations for electrical distribution equipment while driving a high level of customer satisfaction through project execution.
- Be the single point of contact for all internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders.
- Review purchase orders and quotation with Sales reps to ensure clean order entry.
- Work closely with sales team to ensure specification compliance and sales strategy alignment.
- Review RFQ's for clarity of request, suitability for Schneider Electric product offering, risk assessment, profitability, and time given to complete.
- Review and match products to customer specifications and drawings by demonstrating knowledge of products.
- Identify and promote opportunities to improve the quotation process and measure effectiveness.
- Convert orders based on PO requirements.
- Diligently manage 'change order' process.
- Continually monitor and effectively communicate order status to relevant parties.
- Ensure customer deliverables have been satisfied to Schneider Electric terms and conditions.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics (Preferred) / Mechanical or relevant experience.
- 3+ years' experience in sales support (quotations) and project management highly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Detailed oriented and strong proof reading and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Action oriented, proactive in prioritizing own workload
