Training & Development Instructional Design - Senior Professional
Job Objective:
Work directly with internal stakeholders (Learning Academies, Program Managers, Subject Matter experts) from business to design digital and blended learning solutions. Mange design and development teams and supervise the creative process of learning design solutions by ensuring that all planned projects are accurately forecasted, resource allocated and delivered.
Project manage with strong analytical, creative problem-solving, visualization and organizational skills with the ability to manage, provide guidance, and monitor progress and risks to provide agile solutions and ensure team efficiency and cohesiveness efficiently using digital tools like Workfront.
English Fluency Required This role requires full fluency in English. You'll be working with global teams, creating learning content, and communicating complex ideas-strong written and spoken English skills are essential for success.
- Instructional Design Expertise
- Deep understanding of digital and blended learning solutions.
- Ability to guide instructional designers on strategy and provide qualitative feedback on design documents and storyboards.
- Experience in end-to-end content development lifecycle.
- Advanced knowledge of UX/UI and metacognition in learning design.
- Proficiency on authoring tools like Storyline / RISE and Adobe editing tools (audio, video, graphics).
- Project & Program Management Skills
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-program portfolios (e.g., 70+ design projects annually).
- Strong skills in forecasting, resource allocation, and delivery tracking.
- Experienced in project management tools like Workfront and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to monitor KPIs, assess risks, and implement contingency plans.
- Strategic Learning & Stakeholder Consulting
- Partner with senior leaders to align learning strategies with business goals.
- Provide expert guidance on learning experience and UX design for large-scale initiatives i.e. AI tool onboarding.
- Lead pipeline planning, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration on governance and innovation.
- Analyze learner journeys to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Ability to coach and manage design and development teams.
- Skilled in performance management based on stakeholder feedback.
- Experience in resource planning and hiring on-demand skills.
- Vendor Management
- Experience in vendor selection, onboarding, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to monitor vendor performance, ensure quality, and escalate issues.
- Skilled in cost estimation and risk mitigation related to vendor-delivered solutions.
- Learning Governance & Standards
- Experience in leading organization-wide learning governance projects.
- Knowledge of design standards, brand guidelines, and accessibility principles.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and leading communities of practice.
