What is the role?

This is a critical national position taking on the responsibility of the Technology solution Office (TSO) Tender Manager within Schneider Electric Digital Energy business.

Your objective?

To lead the TSO estimating team (8 x engineers) in the delivery Tender estimating and risk assessment for the Digital Energy business nationally. and creating innovative solutions which deliver differentiation and tangible value to our business and our customers.

As the estimating manager, you will be required to lead the estimating team in all aspects of their estimating roles and offer your advice and expertise to sales and delivery teams, ensuring tender designs, product selections and sales proposals are robust, competitive and conform to relevant government regulations and company guidelines.

Reporting to the TSO manager and working closely with the sales, tender management and technical teams you will be responsible for delivery of TSO estimating support for the business and playing an educational role to the wider estimating community.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support internal customers by providing tender management support for the Buildings Business projects nationally and helping to drive orders growth by providing comprehensive and competitive bids.
  • Working within the TSO team in creating innovative solutions to drive sales and deliver business value
  • Strong collaboration between Sales, Systems and LoB to build op offers and obtain approval within the CPP Process.
  • Essential position to manage solution development and compliance of bids nationally.
  • Working within the TSO team nationally and Global GET support teams on development of standardised systems and processes to better tender process for existing systems as well as new and developing markets.
  • Leading the Sales process from S1 to P0 by supporting estimating teams, Opportunity leaders and delivery teams
  • Work with the Estimating and TSO management team, and System architect teams to streamline delivery of offers.
  • Contribute to Engineering and tender efficiency tools including delivery best practices.
