Tender Engineer

What will you do?

• Their responsibilities include analyzing tender requests, preparing cost estimates, developing technical proposals, and coordinating with various teams to produce competitive and accurate bids for projects ranging from infrastructure to offshore wind.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Management:

Overseeing the entire tender process from receiving the client's invitation to submitting the final offer.
Cost Estimation:

Planning and leading the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects.
Technical Proposal Development:

Creating technically sound proposals that align with project specifications and client requirements.
Commercial Activities:

Handling all commercial aspects of a tender, including subcontractor and supplier requirements.
Coordination:

Working collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure a cohesive bid.

Project Support:

Assisting in the creation of design specifications and supporting the handover of successful bids to project teams .

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

Technical Expertise:

A strong background in an engineering discipline, such as Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Commercial Acumen:

Understanding of financial management and contract negotiation.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze tender requirements and evaluate criteria.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.

Organizational Skills:

Highly organized, with strong planning and prioritization abilities to manage multiple complex tenders.
